June, 2008 This company is involved in PMC for Construction of 70 Kms of Light Rail Transport system in Dubai (in two phases of 52 Kms & 18 Kms).
Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, I was responsible for following
Review, comment and recommend approval of the Project Baselines & subsequent programme revisions / cyclic progress programme updates.
Preparation, validation and calculation of Monthly Project Earned Value for certification of Monthly Progress Payment Request and progress updates.
Tracking progress, providing forecasts, areas of concern, what-if analysis.
Monitoring progress, man hours, cost, budget and interfaces as compared to schedule. Managing Key Performance Indicator regime.
Manage, prepare and provide progress forecast for Civil, Trackwork and Rail Systems works and Project Interfaces
Review of Variation/Claim Items within Agreement and their incorporation and integration/budget loading into the baseline and working programme.
Management of Project Programme Interface Schedule, providing forecast of slippage and areas of concern and management reporting of uncertainties.
Provide feedback to management regarding staffing requirements based on changes to project schedules and resource / manpower loadings.
Advising management of adverse schedule impacts, man hours and cost variations and the preparation of Interface Progress Schedules/spreadsheets.
Perform Forensic Analysis (using Contemporaneous Schedule Analysis technique), Review periodic programme changes & their subsequent impact on the project completion and maintain Master Programme Change Register
