Senior Planning Engineer, Petronas, Offshore Pipeline Replacement

Job Scope

Report directly to the Planning and Cost Control Manager and Facilities Manager for EPIC Pipeline Replacement and Platform Rejuvenationoverall planning work scope for Peninsular Malaysia Operation (PMO) and Sabah Operation (SBO). Establish and manage overall planning and progress control system so as to support respective Facilities and Project Manager's decision-making process in view of project completion according to internal baselines and in compliance with PETRONAS governance and requirements.

• Develop, validate, manage and lead overall project planning package inclusive of progress measurement methodology, project scheduleusing critical path method (CPM), work breakdown structures (WBS) and S-Curve, cost loading and histogram and other technical datas required according to PETRONAS standard requirements.
• Monitor and analyse project progress for engineering, fabrication, installation, hook-up and commissioning phase and advise Facilities Managers on potential delays and critical activities; as well as to propose mitigation measures to minimise impact and delays to the project timelines. 
• Validate and closely monitor respective consultant / contractor’s planning packages to ensure each phase meeting the stipulated datelines by working closely with respective consultant / contractor’s planner and manager.
• Generate periodical progress reports in tandem with client requirements (Sabah Operation Region and Peninsular Malaysia Operation Region) and for management updates. Attend project progress meeting as and when required to liaise with the client focal point / personnel on the agreed planning targets for the project.
• Assist the Planning and Cost Control Manager in the day-to-day performance of the work.
