- Rajasthan Road Project
- Construction of Road from Km 253+000 to Km 316+000 with Main carriageway 4 lanes of rigid pavement and Service road of flexible pavement. Contract Value of Rs.375 Crore. (for NHAI funded by Asian Development Bank)
Major Responsibilities of Planning Engineer:
- Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring and Controlling Engineering, Procurement, Construction activities with respect to Plan, Progress and Resources using latest planning tools like Primavera Project Planner (Ver. 3.1) ,MS Project and Enterprise Version 4.0
- Producing & updating comprehensive project planning package.
- Supervise supporting roles in the project schedule and cost control area.
- Demonstration of project controls capability in the areas of cost control and scheduling to clients (business development)
- Maintaining and updating network to revised or evolving scope.
- Monitoring/follow up to ensure timely completion of the project.
- Review, evaluation of progress on weekly basis identifying critical problem areas and indicating remedial measures for corrective actions.
- Review & analyze the Estimated Cost for new and balance works
- Preparing, regular updating & distribution of Progress Reports (Monthly, Weekly, Daily and S- Curve, histograms) etc to Client / Internal.
- Deliver project budget & monthly cost control reports by segment and by cost centers (Material, Engineering, operation, Sub-Contracts, etc.) by using MS Office.
- Analyze and monitor project performance against baseline, identify variances and initiate early warnings for slippage
- Review & Report the Project performance to World Bank & Asian Development Bank.
- Analysing the risks involved to prepare proper mitigation plans for achieving the Project Completion successfully
- Prepare and Maintain the Hindrance Register for Contractual & Variation Claims.
