RENUMBERING ORACLE PRIMAVERA P6 ACTIVITY IDS |
| After completing a schedule, the P6 Activity IDs are usually not in order from top to bottom. To make it simpler to find activities when checking the relationships it is useful to renumber the task from top to bottom. Unfortunately, the P6 Renumbering function will not renumber all project activities in the order on the screen and one method of renumbering activities from top to bottom is to export the schedule to Excel renumber and import the new Activity IDs. If you wish to learn how to renumber a P6 schedule from top to bottom in Excel then please read this article I have written by clicking on this link>>> Accelerate your understanding of scheduling software to advance your scheduling career. Be able to prepare better schedules with Eastwood Harris books, online videos available through Udemy and training material on: - Microsoft Project,
- Oracle Primavera P6 and
- Elecosoft (Asta) Powerproject

CLEOPATRA COST ENGINEERING |
| Early Stage & Conceptual Estimating Tank Terminal Industry May 26st | 16:00 CEST / 09:00 CDT | 45 minutes Join the webinar to discover how Conceptual Estimating can improve the performance of Tank Terminals. About the webinar Tank Terminals provide connections between the key links in the chains –production, refining, and distribution – and serve as a repository for surplus and buffer inventory. Even though Tank Terminals can profit greatly from storing products, most terminal operators are not project focused. This means that the Tank Terminal industry can gain more from their product storage – especially starting from the cost estimation to create a solid basis for the whole project. During this webinar you’ll learn how conceptual estimating and one central cost database can help improve the performance of Tank Terminals, and share information efficiently between systems and people. In this webinar we’ll discuss: - The vibe and projects within the Tank Terminal Industry
- The challenges for Tank Terminal operators

BENEFITS OF USING CPM SCHEDULING FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS |
| The Critical Path Method (CPM) is a scheduling technique that identifies the longest path of logically dependent and connected activities that it takes to reach the end of the project. CPM helps the project manager and the project team to identify risks to the project deliverables, and it is especially important in the construction industry, where delays in even small tasks can translate into catastrophic and costly project delays. Read more about CPM and its benefits here. |
