On the 21^st / 22^nd September Planning Planet is sponsoring a Zone at the Project Challenge event in Olympia in London.

Our goal during the 2 days is to have the very best planners and project control people present; for our education, and also to explain to you exactly what we hope to achieve with your Guild the GPPCD.

One the 22^nd, in the afternoon, much of this time will be taken by presentations dedicated to Building Information Management (BIM).

Planning Planet will have a stand at the event and we look forward to meeting you all at some stage during the two days; to talk further if we need to.  As you all know, some Guild officers have already been appointed and we are looking for more.  We have some corporate sponsors for the Guild and we are looking for more.

Speakers at the event will include the programme director for Crossrail, the programme director of the Russian Olympic development, the ex-project manager of CLM, for the London Olympics.  There will also be examples from some of our trade sponsors who will use case studies to show how their products affected project delivery for their clients.  More information on speakers and content will be provided in the coming days.  We are receptive to your ideas if you have any.

Our goal is to have 700 people attend over the 2 days.  We will, during each section, morning and afternoon, still have time to talk about the Guild, your Guild.  Please support us in this initiative; a good response will mean our event programme will become more regular and ever more beneficial, to you, our members.
