During my time at Nuvia I have been focusing on Planning within the Project Controls function. I have been assisting the Planning Manager and Tender Manager in completing various management tasks while undertaking the Planning role on several live projects.
- Creating and Implementing a Planning/Project Controls checklist to be utilized site wide
- Programme updates at Period End.
- Completing/Providing Earned Value Management to Project Manager / Client.
- Forecast and Resource breakdown to the PM and Client.
- Added contingency to programmes to control risk.
- Created project folders to store XER files, Period End Progress and EVM figures.
- Collaborated with the Tender Manager to submit fully resourced and cost loaded programmes and ensured all task dependent activities have a resource or cost attached, ensuring the BCWS is profiled accurately.
- Created Fragnets of different aspects of a project; Project Management, Procurement, Design, Commissioning, Construction, Decommissioning. These are to aid future tenders and can be manipulated and elaborated on to suite the individual project.
