Based in Stratford, East London, working on the company’s East Anglia Zone S&C Contract. Responsible for running subprojects within the contract, reporting directly to the Project Manager. Duties undertaken in this post are:
- Project planning and management – liasing with planners to procure possessions, isolations, TSR’s and engineering trains.
- Collation and production of QA documentation.
- Assisting in the production of CDM documentation
- Implementation of Company, Health, Safety and Welfare standards to all employees under my control.
- Management of Engineering Staff, ensuring engineering work is carried out to the correct tolerances and the appropriate records maintained.2
- Provision of resourced construction programmes and methodologies for tendering purposes
GrantRail Ltd – Site Engineer
Working on various contracts including the Chiltern Line and London Docklands Light Railway Extension in Croydon. Duties undertaken in this post are:
- Reviewing design drawings, extracting design information and setting out of engineering works.
- Carrying out engineering works to the correct line and level.
- Recording and maintaining engineering records.
- Site investigation prior to engineering works and production of “Asbuilt” surveys upon completion.
- Carrying out Stressing Controller duties.
