I was recruited to assist the pre-construction department in tendering civil and infrastructure projects such as Dubai Marina District 10, Burj Khalifa, Abu Dhabi midfield terminal new runways utilities, taxi ways, airfield ground lighting. Part of my role was to identify the tender requirements, program constraints, risks, resources and construction methodology. I was responsible for compiling the technical submission which involved coordination and liaison with the tender team. I was also involved with contractors and clients to ensure full project coordination and development of project specific master programs by establishing baselines to monitor and control progress. I provided impact analysis from potential program variation on time and cost and produce standardized reports to all levels of management

Project Scope:-
This is a mega infrastructure project worth in excess of US$1.3 Billion. The project includes the substantial upgrade to the main traffic artery in the middle of Kuwait City, an expressway through construction of 395,000 sqm of bridges and viaducts using precast segmental erection methods, which include six cloverleaf intersections and other pertaining structures. The project also includes relocation of existing and construction of new utilities as well as construction of roads at grade.
Duties Performed:-
- Reporting to the planning manager, liaison with project team members of various disciplines for the major project delivery team.
- Development of various levels of resource loaded programs for each project’s needs from Feasibility studies to Construction Phase using P6 and P3 for weekly reviews and updates.
- Generating planning/cost (impact) reports using P6, P3 and excel for the weekly/monthly projects progress & SPI/ CPI review.
- Identifying the critical activities and managing the project programs against the Key milestones.
- Identifying the risk and inform the senior management on time and initiate necessary action for recovery plan for the slippage.
- Maintain consistencies of the planning procedures for the overall project.
- Periodic re-scheduling all level 1-4 P6 the programs based on the project requirements
- Carry out regular site visits for monitoring the progress and obtain information for updating detailed programs.
