Monthly Progress update...
We have appointed our very own Project Controller who is ensuring that we are on track for phase 2. We are currently finalising the Guild Constitution which will be available to all Guild Applicants come phase 2 and we are currently working on improving the Guild Officer Application process.
The Professional Development committee is aiming to have a first draft of the Planning & Scheduling standards of practice (SoP) in place around mid March ready for peer review.
The Marketing and Strategy team are working hard in discussions with potential Guild Sponsors. We will hopefully be able to bring you more on this next month.
Guild Committee in the spotlight...
This month we focus on our Management support committee who is chaired by David Burton
The Management Support Committee has the task of ensuring the internal operation of our Guild is conducted in a professional, ethical manner by ensuring that appropriate internal processes and procedures are deployed and applied.
In this, our opening phase, it is focusing on establishing those necessary to facilitate operations and will be working with the other committees to capture the key processes in order to establish a firm baseline for our activities. To support this we have compiled an Activity Breakdown Structure that identifies our current scope of work and why we are addressing these items and their importance to us. This is a live tool that helps us identify what we need to do and can be viewed on. The active members of the committee are focussing on individual processes and if you would like to offer some of your time to participate then we would value your involvement.

Regional Guild Interest Groups (GIG)...
We are truly becoming global with meetings being held from London to Yemen to Australia to Nigeria. We do though still have some areas without a regional GIG so why not check to see if your region has a group? If it does make sure you join it so you are aware of and can contribute to local events. If there isn’t one why not be the first to champion a GIG meeting in your area?
