Progressing a Schedule Before Baselining

The idea is that the baseline shall be scheduled as current status but not statused as actual. Meaning the schedule is planned as current status. Once accepted as baseline then create a copy to update and statuses the activities accordingly.

Hi Jordan

I take the opposite view to Patrick.

The progress data should reflect what actually happened so it should be added to your "trial" programme.

If changes are required to get approval then the new programme is easily progressed a second time.

Not a good idea - the baseline may be adjusted to reflect what is actually happening but generally the 'baseline' is the planned situation.
