March, 2016 This was the first power plant in Chile with combined cycle technology the Project name is Kelar Plant, this plant reuses 100% of seawater. The project investment of $600 Million (USD), main works: installation 2 gas turbines of 350 Ton, 1 steam turbine 250 Ton, 1500 tons of steel structures, 180,000 m3 of concrete, 1,200,000 m3 of earthworks, 2,500 tons of reinforcement bars, water & waste treatment plant, several diesel storage tanks, installation of cooling tower 200 meters of length and other major works.
