Senior Field Piping Engineer on this $650 Million Project. The grass roots installation of the project included all underground, rack, and configured piping. The High Pressure Urea piping required extremely sensitive attention to detail. The Urea piping installation was approximately 4,500 linear feet and required hydro testing in closed loop and included the testing of a 250’ tall reactor. There were over 150,000 gallons of de-mineralized water used for the test. The piping portion of the project was executed under budget and ahead of schedule.

Grass roots Ethylene Unit - Westlake, Louisiana
Furnace Engineer for the installation of seven Millisecond Furnaces using MW Kellogg Technology. The installation of the foundations, structural steel, pigtail boxes, tube boxes, Primary Quench Exchanger and stack was his defined scope. The erection and installation of the furnaces took a little over 7 months.

Field Piping Engineer for the addition of a new Mitsubishi Steam Turbine. The scope included the foundations, structural steel required for the installation of new Steam Turbine.

Mini – Millisecond Furnace Pilot Plant Erection and Startup
Quantum Chemical - Clinton, Iowa
Responsible for all Construction and startup of a two-tube ethylene furnace. The furnace was prefabricated in Freeport, Texas and shipped to Clinton, Iowa. It was then erected and tied into to existing plant systems. Once the construction was completed commission was performed. Numerous test runs were executed and the finds were reported to Research and Development. Several small shutdowns were performed to change out various types of tube configurations.
