The bridge featured dual 7,300-foot structures with 900-foot cable-stayed main spans designed to accommodate future transitloading. Responsible for costcontrol.

This project involved design services for installing automatic train control using advanced communications-based train control technology plus a backup conventional signaling system on the entire mainline network, including all central office, wayside, and train-borne equipment locations. Work included providing a vital new processor-based interlocking system using digital track circuits to replace the existing relay-based signal system and track circuits. Updated the schedule with progress, resource, and cost information on a weekly basis. Prepared and reviewed financial reports, including earned value, cost performance index, and schedule performance index calculations, and identified risks and mitigation measures. Managed and led a team of two project controls engineers and a document controller.

Santosh handled multiple signal engineering and communications engineering projects. Signal project work included interlocking renewals with microprocessor-based technology. Communications project work included installing fiber cable, radio retrofits, communications towers, and communications equipment.
