VTA/BART (SVBX) / Berryessa Extension Project - San Jose:
Silicon Valley Rapid Transit (SVRT) SVBX C700 (Line, Track, Station, System) – The $2.5 billion Silicon Valley Berryessa Extension (SVBX) Project includes two stations, Milpitas and Berryessa, and extends approximately 10 miles from the planned Warm Springs Station being constructed by BART in Alameda County, to the planned Berryessa Station in the City of San José.
Position Scope:
- Coordination of design efforts
- Review Designer’s estimate with Project Estimators
- Assist in preparing scope documents for Designers and construction contracts
- Resolution of: third party issues, right of way, Utility, city/county issues.
- Monitoring, maintaining and updating the master schedule for project.
- Coordinating and issuing weekly and monthly project reports
- Coordination of construction activities with all stakeholders including reviewing change orders and other claims.
- Review and monitor Contractor schedule.
Work delegation, responsibilities and experience to date:
- As-Built Design Schedule - C700 Contract.
- D720 Campuses and Parking Structure Design Coordinator/Scheduler
- ROW Scheduling: C700, & D720/C640 property acquisition.
- New PGE 115 kV Service @ Railroad Ct. & Las Plumas; New PG&E service Stations. New PGE - Wayside coordination meetings.
- Safety and Security - C700
- RNIP – Scheduler on 4 Residential Noise Insulation and Procurement Contracts
- Monthly updates to the IMS - integrated master schedule.
- C700 MPR/EPR Monthly report comments and design contract packaging comment dispositions. Monthly Construction and Design schedule comment dispositions. Upholding contractual in place scheduling specifications including LD’s, Milestones, including DCR’s for construction staging, and contractor interfaces for turnovers.
- Time impact analysis/Delay analysis contracts and critical work items.
- SVBX project controls team member.
