PLANNING ENGINEER, Limak İnşaat Egypt Branch, Rehabilitation and Expansion of Cairo International Airport Terminal Building 2 (TB2) Project.

Planning engineer: planning and follow up tasks (time schedule, resource definition and allocation, cash flow, follow the progress and readjust according to the actual performance.

1. Review and approve / comment on the Construction schedules as submitted by the subcontractor(s) and ensure the Construction Schedule is in compliance with the overall project schedule.2. Review and approve / comment on the procurement schedules as submitted by the subcontractors and ensure the procurement schedules are in compliance and are coordinated with current construction schedules.3. Review and continuously monitor, against approved schedules, the major construction progress and ensure equipment and manpower are adequate or in case of any shortage report to Projects Controls Manager4. Review in detail the recovery schedules and ensure manpower and site supervision staffs are increased properly5. Regular visits to project sites to validate whether the progress of work on site is in compliance with approved schedules, whether major milestones have been met and report deficiencies to Projects Controls Manager. 6. Advise the Projects Controls Manager of any foreseen slippage of progress and corrective actions to be taken.7. Attend weekly progress meeting and monthly Executive meetings and participate in preparing the agenda.8. Assist Projects Controls Manager during preparation of Monthly Progress reports and Monthly Executive Presentations.9. Produce daily, weekly or biweekly detailed planning Reports as required.10.  Analysis of Rate for BOQ items.11.  Compiling progress reports to the Employer and/or Upper Level.12.  Monitor progress of works and resources and ensuring project programmed completion and carry out updating of planning.13.  Inspecting and then valuing completed work. Project: Rehabilitation and Expansion of Cairo International Airport Terminal Building 2 (TB2) Project.  Project parties:  Employer: Cairo Airport company (CAC)      &        Lender :World bank.Project Management Consultant: Hill International ProjectEngineer: ECG/NACO.  Contractor: Limak Egypt Branch.
