October, 2011 Impala Platinum No. 18 Shaft (RSA)– Bankable Feasibility Study (B.F.S) [Involvement: April 2011 to October 2011]
I was involved in setting up the B.F.S. schedule in coordinating all stakeholders involved in preparing their reports and studies. This also included the setting up of the Forecast schedule and the C.B.E. (Cost Budget Estimate) for the project. The shaft is very similar to Impala 17# however it is going to a depth of ±2km which is slightly deeper, making Impala 18# a larger mine per ton.
