Project Planning Profile
- Finalization of Work Breakdown Structure , Base plan and Milestones in line with Project requirements
- Preparation of Level 2, Level 3 schedules, identification and analysis of critical paths
- Preparation of manpower loading plan, monitoring and control
- Communication of plans and targets to discipline lead engineers
- Updating of project schedules and S-Curve (overall and discipline wise)
- Preparation of priority table for Engineering deliverables based on project requirements
- Monitoring progress and analysis of slippage with respect to plan
- Preparation of schedule variance analysis report and highlight areas of concern to the management.
- Preparation of recovery plans (action plan) and forecasts
- Preparation of look ahead schedules and follow-up
- Preparation of resource requirements (manpower) in line with project plan
- Progress review with discipline leads and highlighting the areas of concern
- Preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports highlighting critical areas of concern and action to be taken
- Co-ordination with engineering disciplines and procurement group
- Preparation of punch list for jobs nearing completion and follow up with concerned discipline leads
- Issue man hour spent reports of each Engineering discipline against each activity on a monthly basis.
- Presentations to higher authority for the weekly review on the overall status of project.
- Generation of Weekly and Monthly MIS progress reports.
- Attending weekly and monthly review meetings
- Attending periodical review meetings with Management / Project managers
Proposal Planning
- Prepare proposal schedule as per requirement by Clients.
- Identification of key milestones for proposal planning.
- Co-ordination with respective department for identification of key deliverables.
- Co-ordinate with engineering for vendor data requirements and identification of interface drawings/documents.
- Assist in preparation of Cash Flow Analysis.
- Highlight to Project Management for critical path on the schedule and takes necessary action.
- Assist in preparation of manpower schedule for proposal estimation.
