October, 2009 I am currently being contracted through qedi to work on the BP Valhall Project as a trainee planner/technical assistant.
My duties are;
- Compiling work packs
- Communicating and working with the client and engineers
- Entering jobcard data into GoPlan jobcard system
- Entering activity codes into P6 then importing them to GoPlan to be attached with jobcards
- Getting involved with the decision making for coding structures within P6 and GoPlan
- Compiling weekly histograms/graphs to show progress with the procedures and issuing them to the client
- General house keeping within P6 and GoPlan
I also have other duties that involve in house work for qedi.
These include;
- Compiling the monthly report
- Managing a plan for application modifications for the IT department
- Producing histograms/graphs to show progress along with the plan
- General house keeping duties with servers - keeping files and folders organised
I am very competent and confident working with Microsoft Office. I am able to show my work to a clear and professional standard.
I have had experience working with Primavera(P6), Microsoft Project and GoPlan. I have just completed a Primavera course presented by David Kelly at Aberdeen Computer Services.
