AMEC Planner

As a planning engineer working on a tender for a £100 million United Utilities water project my role was to produce a level 4 contract programme on P3e from design through construction to commissioning. However, Amec did not win the bid and the project team was disbanded.

KMI Plus Planner

Working on water and wastewater projects my role was to produce project programmes using P6 and update them on a monthly basis for the client, United Utilities. I also worked closely with the site teams planning future work in detail to ensure that the projects came in on schedule.

J Murphy & Sons Planner

Working on the North West element of the OPFA framework for the main contractor, JM Murphy on rail infrastructure projects such as refurbishment of stations and signal boxes my role was to produce project programmes, update them and report on a monthly basis to management and the client Network Rail.

GMPTE Project Controls Engineer

Reporting directly to the project controls manager, I am responsible for development, progression and improvement of the programme schedules and cost monitoring on the TIF (Transport Innovation Fund) Heavy Rail programme of works project based in and around the Greater Manchester area. I was assigned to the Through Alignment Tamping Contract for West Coast Route Modernization, my duties were as follows:
•Created & updated P3 Plan to Network Rail’s specification.
•Entered worksite requirements into PPS & attended Planning & PICOP Meetings for worksites
•Created & updated 12 weekly (minimum) look ahead plan (in Excel)
