Thanks Rodel. That sounds liek a simple enough solution. I was hoping or thinking that there was an easy way of confirming this without any such manipulation, but I note you suggestion. It would have been good if P6 used a different icon for instance for the Global calendars and another for the project calendars tp provie an easy way of knowing where the calendar is hosted.

Simply rename one of the calendars (either the global or project calendar), and you will see which calendar is assigned to your project. If the assigned calendar is the one you renamed, it will automatically update to the new name.
