Both ways work. I really said "AHA!!!" when I saw that 5 for hammock. that was what was missing.



I am still looking for a way to get the STYP column to show and be used in a DBF file though.



If you come across that piece of information please send it this way. I will really appreciate it.

Hi,



Why don’t you try to change the activity type using Activity Form.

You need to do a bit of hard work but you will get the result.



Go to View > Activity Form > Type. Change the activity to hammock.



OR:



Filter the selected activities > Open column for Activity Type > type Hammock to 1st activity > Highlight the remaining activities > Edit > Fill Cell. Now you have successfully change the activities to hammock.

Ok I have not been able to use export with this but what about a global change.



Fisr Copy Your Schedule (If any Thing goes Wrong you have it still)



It is Easy.



First you go to Selection

Select All

Act ID contains L

Act ID contains S



Then you go to Change

Then:STYP EQ 5



Pre Trail Run and see if this is what you needed.

Thank you for the very fast reply. :)



Any chance of doing this from export/import dbf file?



Because the activity.xls file is BIG and takes a very long time to update.



Plus I have had problems with the dates before that I have not been able to solve then. I try to steer away from the activity .xls file.

Try



C:\P3WIN\Samples\EXCEL\ACTIVITY.



This file is also on the p3 CD



Get the Activity’s



Sort the Activity’s



Change the Type to 5 (Hammock en reimport)



And Send back to p3 (Set Activity’s)



PS if you can not get the files PP me your email I will send you the "P3" File
