Once you figure out the intricacies of your software you should be up and running.

Keep in mind at times it is convenient to know date differences if using activity or a reference calendar, in such case user defined fields and formulas [Global Change] can be of help, the details will depend on your software.

Say an activity is projected to finish late by a 2 days plus 2 hours but if it happened just after a weekend, in terms of activity calendar it is late by 2 hours.  This information is good to know and compare side by side.

You need to change the dates to include time, and changethe durations to hours before you can check the arithmetic. P6 does all of its calculations and store all of its quantities in hours.
