Quick work around is to highlight all resources shown on Current Project Resources window on the bottom left of the screen or right click the said window and select Group & Sort by-> Customise. Tick Show Grand Totals then click Ok. Select Total and that should combine all your resources.

Rodel,
Thanks; all have been defined.
For individual resources its fine;
If u have 3 process engrs(PR1,PR2,PR3) at hierarchical level define addnl res as PR*.
Define respective(PR1~3)availabilities & you get PR* availability automatically.
I am still to get these in P6.

Hi Dattatreya,
It almost the same as P3 with enhance and added function. In P5/P6 you can define Resource Breakdown Structure (RBS). Assign Roles and Timesheets.
You set resource availability under Unit & Prices Tab.
You can set default Unit/Time, Auto compute actuals and select labor, nonlabor and material under Detail tab.
You can define Driving Resources under Enterprise-> Project-> Resources Tab.
Hope this help,
Rodel

Hi Rodel,
In P3, We define normal & hierarchical resources
we define resource availability (normal/max) thru dates.
But we also get hierarchical resource availability in P3 on the basis of normal resources.
How do we get hierarchical resource availability in P6.
Any thoughts ?
