Ive come across an interesting issue on a project where we have a programme included within our contract (NEC3). This programme had not been rescheduled prior to being included within the contract and as such the dates are not in line with the logic and constraints contained within the programme. Once rescheduled the dates are changed significantly.
My opinion on this is that a programme is more than the depiction of the dates and activities and should be reviewed and assess once it has been rescheduled as this is how the programme is operating in line with the logic and constraints written. The unscheduled version of the programme is in error as the dates are not working in line with the logic and constraints. Would be interested in others thoughs on this please and any case studies/additional information would be great.
Thanks in advance
