I need to link the Engineering portion of an EPC schedule of an oil & gas project to the Procurement portion where I have tagged equipments and bulk materials. The first activity of the Procurement portion for each purchase order is "Issue RFQ" (Request for Quotation). I need a predecessor from the engineering portion so that I can link it to this activity ("Issue RFQ") for the following items:
Tagged Equipments:
- Vessels
- Pumps
- Generators / Compressors
Bulk Materials:
- Piping
- Structural steel
- Electrical bulk
- Valves
In other words, what input / deliverable / document do I need for each of these items from Engineering so that Procurement can issue the corresponding request for quotation. Thank you very much in advance.
