Maintenance Planner, Qatar District Cooling Company, Utility Industry

- Develop and maintain Maintenance Plans & schedules at various phases of QDC Plants Facilities, Plant Shutdown, progress reviews and preparation of planning reports. - Collect CMMS notifications and job cards; create maintenance order and plan, assigning resources and spares - Review and develop daily maintenance schedules and validate the work orders are scheduled according to their priorities , handling number of work orders and with resources availability - Obtain material, spares, services requirement from maintenance section and prepare scope of work, specifications, code number. - Interacting with an integrated activity planning function and shutdown planning function; - Exploit resource productivity by identifying parts, materials, special tools, external services, rentals and documentation - Arrange purchase requisition, follow-up with materials department to accept spares, services History updates in CMMS and close work orders - Periodically review and enhancement in existing procedures. - Prepare and initiate weekly look ahead schedules with tag numbers system. - Monitor and analyze shutdown activities status on routine basis and accentuate to execute critical activities in central system and impact on timely maintenance completion of turnaround / shutdown. - Offer spare and services inputs for budgeting. Preparation of corrective and preventive activities. Routine communication with maintenance, operation, engineering and reliability - Develop issue and follow up of Preventive Maintenance Monthly Plans comprising of plant maintenance work orders and generate reports. - Plan meeting with operation and maintenance dept. Develop work plans for maintenance jobs with necessary information to allow resourceful scheduling and execution of maintenance work - Develop, compile and issue numerous reports i.e, weekly, bi-weekly plans compliance and status reports and monthly department report, backlog or statistics reports and maintenance performance KPI report. - Utilizing CMMS system to handle and manage plant maintenance functions planning and utilization to enhanced optimum productivity - Overseeing quality control, policies and procedures, health and safety matters and Work Permits.
