Bridges and Roads Supervising Engineers( January  2006 - March 2008)

Project Undertaken: Construction of Bong-ao and Sibahay Bridges, Surigao del Sur

• General supervision for the project to see that the project is carried out in accordance with the plans and specifications;
• Ensure that all the staff are properly interpreting the approved plans and specifications;
• Ensure that the contractor  must strictly comply with the requirements of the plans and specifications;
• Supervision of the works of the Staff;    
• Confers with project staff to provide technical advice and to resolve problems; provides the necessary leadership and management support to enhance the efforts of project staff;
• Provides periodic reports and project updates regarding the accomplishment of the project;
• Confers regularly with the contractor’s representatives;
• Keep all records and prepares report, certificates, progress estimates and correspondence;
• Confers with the representative of Government Agencies, Inhabitants, and Property Owners, representative of public utilities and other interested citizens affected by the project or contractor’s operations.
• To check the quality of work as per contractual agreements of the contract, specification and according to DPWH standards/client circular.
• Responsible for actual inspection during contractor’s project operation to ensure that the construction methods and standards are being applied.
• Render Technical supports and give advice to the contractor needed for efficient and easy implementation of the Project.
