Project details:531million LYD (US$350 million) awarded 07Feb2010 as Main Infrastructure Contractor for Project.
The work consisted of the construction of the main infrastructure works for the HIB 10680 Housing Units Project located in Tajura, Tripoli. The scope consisted of the construction of the roads, sewage, rainwater drainage, electrical, telecommunication systems and also incorporated a pumping station, a reservoir, substations, two bridges and other needed infrastructure buildings.
Project quantities have later nearly doubled to US$1 (one) Billion due to design changes. Contract was Lump Sum.
My scope of work consisted of
● Leading a team of engineers and technicians to create a synergy and conduct necessary project management work.
● Scope of the technical office ranged from the DCC to the IT through cost control, due reporting of subcontractors and client, interfacing with the managements and clients, progress reporting, design control, productivity control and other reporting works.
