November, 2013 As a Database Analyst in the Procurement Unit, I support the Procurement Manager in in-depth review of tender and bid documents, review of Project Master Schedule for all Procurement activities and monitor the progress of the project phases in accordance with the scheduled times, cost, quality estimates and objectives. I am also responsible for sourcing and recommending suitable and qualified suppliers for the materials/services needs of the organization, monitoring and evaluating vendor performance, as well as maintenance of procurement database and management information systems.
Roles:
- Develop and maintain documentation of departmental procedures and database
- Prepare and compile tender/contract documentation
- Record and control approved requests issued for procurement
- Prepare and send out request for quotations to vendors
- Receive and review quotations as well as recommend vendors for order approval
- Expedite delivery on approved orders
- Generate periodic reports of procurement activities for stakeholders
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure higher quality of service delivery
- Provide support for Infor SunSystems application deployed within the organization
