Senior Project Controls, Grand Isle Shipyard, Various Construction Projects

• Development and update of a work breakdown structure to subdivide projectcontracts, scopes, tasks, and deliverables into manageable components;• Tracking contracts, scopes of work, purchase as they relate to contract commitments, schedules and progress;• Tracking and coordinating all aspects of scheduled tasks.• Updating and maintaining project schedules in accordance with approved workplans, long-term strategic plans and other schedule and plan tools;• Coordinating and integrating with the Project Managers, The Project Controls are responsible for a number of tasks andactivities, including:• Consulting with, assisting, and advising Project Managers,matters related to project controls, forecasts, for new and authorized work;• Compiling baseline schedules for site remediation and construction;• Routinely tracking and updating project schedules to adjust for changes inscope, cost and existing conditions, as required;• Subdividing larger schedules into more detailed, phased tasks and subprojectsfor ease of management review and oversight;• Preparing monthly analyses and reports on estimating, progress,commitmentson schedule performance.• Developing and maintaining database and record management system.• Tracking actual costs of construction activities and compare them to t• Comparing actual and budgeted percentage completion to date;• Preparing schedule projections and providing timely notice to the Project ManagersTrust of deviations and/or key issues that could affect the critical pathschedule;• Assisting in new project contracting activities, scoping and administration;• Maintaining documents and records.• Performing additional assignments as directed by GIS
