January, 1995 I am in charge of an operation planning which is aimed at integrating operations activities performed on 2 FPSO located in Nigerian waters. I am based onshore in Lagos Nigeria. Activities from various entities (maintenance, production, inspection, marine, drilling&completion etc) are merged into 1 single plan. From the Inegrated Operations Plan (IOP), 4-month look-ahead (4MLA) sent to the FPSOs on weekly basis, 12MLA and 24MLA are used for monthly operations meeting and Quarterly Operations meetings respectively. For the meetings, primavera spreadsheets are converted to power pont slides which are displayed during the meeting.
NB: Need your assistance for the following
- The task of preparing the slides is really onerous and time consuming - will appreciate if PP has some other more optimised way for this presentation
- Does PP have some typical KPI that could be used for operations planning?
