As a Quantity Surveyor (1999 to 2001), I was Tasked to handle jobs related to quantifying and tracking project activities for the construction of two span river crossing bridge connecting the city of Omuta, Fukuoka prefecture and Jojima, Saga Prefecture:
§ Quantity Take-Off (from IFC Drawing) and mark-up and record any variance for Claims
§ Prepares and submit quantity appraisal on every activity being done pertaining to civil, Mechanical and electrical Works.
§ Updates and evaluates actual activities status on PERT/CPM diagram for periodic project meeting coordinating all data with Project Planning Engineer.
§ Documenting Progress by Red-lining Drawings.
§ Record and update work progress and project status
§ Prepares Project Documentation.
§ Identifies project variation order and prepare related document accordingly.
§ Reports directly to Project Manager/Project Planning engineer.
