December, 2011 My job scope is being a site project engineer, managing and supervising the company projects, mainly in water desalination plants construction and commissioning, my duties and responsibilities were involved in and not limited to:
- Help the Project Manager in planning the activities and in procurement decisions for items supplying and sub-contracting.
- Preparing Project look ahead plan and schedule.
- Preparing Cash Flow Projection.
- Help the project manager in execution and monitoring and controlling the various activities of the project.
- Ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, instrumental and Civil site activities are conducted under controlled conditions, including piping works, cable laying, electrical panel installation, instrument installation and calibration as per shop [1] drawings, method statements, specifications and work plan.
- Communicate with the client and ensure the customer’s satisfaction regarding the work in hand.
- Get involved in plants commissioning and processing.
