The field of Civil Engineering and Construction Project Management are quite related to each other as the individual needs to be well aware of the various aspects of civil engineering, while at the same time possessing the required project management skills to ensure that the projects are complete on time. It has been proved over the time in the Civil Engineering industry that the successful project managers are those who come from a strong engineering background and possess the project management skills to ensure that the project is completed on time. It is with this in mind that I now write to you as a highly successful Civil Engineer and Planning engineer, with over 10 years of professional experience, for a position in your highly reputed organization.
Currently undergoing a degree in Project Management, I wish to polish my skills in construction project management to ensure that I am able to successfully lead the entire projects by coordinating with all the stakeholders, while resolving any issues that may develop during the project execution phase. Some of my accomplishments so far include:
§ Successful completion of the Millennium Tirran Project consisting of 7 areas in addition to public areas with a total of 351 guest rooms; and the Melia Sharm Project consisting of 3 areas with a total of 283 guest rooms
§ Working with the Egypt Ministry of Electricity and Energy as a Project Controller and Ministry of Crisis Aviation.
§ Meeting and negotiating with the foreign subcontractors and finalizing the Terms and Conditions of the Projects
§ Reviewing the new project tenders, preparing the tender schedules by reviewing the BOQs of the projects and estimating the approximate resources needed along with the equipments till the end of the project
