February, 2010 - Maintain and ‘status’ the project programmes (typically the Delivery and Contract Programmes) to which they are assigned, taking data from the project team and the supply chain
- Review the supply chain programmes and status reports. Provide regular commentary to the project manager and team
- ‘Sample’ the programme status to validate reports from team members and recommend any action to the Project Manager
- Provide the project team and other stakeholders with a simple summary of the status and recommendations on any action to be taken
- Provide accurate programme data and associated commentary to the Project KPI Report
- Define the targets for other members of the team to generate more detailed Medium Range, Short Range and detailed design programmes
- Provide effective and efficient planning support to projects
- Contribute to the generation of programmes (and their rebaselining where required) involving the project team to give understanding, buy-in and commitment.
- Provide coaching to the wider operational teams to enable them to work more effectively and with minimum direct planner support, hence improving overall efficiency
- Act as the lead planner on projects
- Application of technical & construction knowledge to produce integrated programmes
