Project Managed relaunch of department under new name and expanded remit.
Existing department was named Business Support Unit and operated as a pool of employees who were placed on assignments to various project and programmes on client sites. Relaunched department as Professional Internal Consultancy.
- Project managed process from end to end, took over from project manager who had not progressed project at all, delivered project at 50% of originally proposed budget
- Liaised with stakeholders, internal and external, to reposition department to meet customer needs. Added general recruitment function and linked more closely to Learning and Development team to develop talent management
- Procured promotional material including branded stationery and posters
- Organised and promoted events to inform potential customers of available services
