Initially tasked with setting up project controls for reporting on all projects under the MFF, the role involved analysing the existing toolsets and business structure used for capturing costs and reporting project status both commercially & within the planning sector.
Developing and implementing a new method of capturing and reporting costs not used within the company previously, which provides a consolidated report on a dashboard for each project under the MFF with accurate data. The dashboards were accepted by the client as the sole period report required due to its comprehensive nature in illustrating project performance.
Following successful implementation on all projects with the Rail South division, tasked with cascading this throughout the Rail business unit to area offices in Bristol, Cardiff, York and Glasgow. The method of reporting using the dashboards initially developed for a single framework is now being considered by BAM Nuttall UK across all business units.
Additionally tasked to work closely with the Building Information Management (BIM) team, providing guidance on earned value and the potential for incorporating these aspects into BIM.
