Common Sulfur Project duties:
– Keeping the Head of Project Controls Department and Project Controls Manager (when applicable) informed in detail of progress and costs achieved against plans. Gives’ early warning of potentially unfavorable trends and monitors the activities for mitigation.
– Setup the Quantity Tracking System.
– Support preparing the Client Weekly Report, Client Monthly Report, Internal Cost Report, and Internal Monthly Report.
– Schedule assists for the Planning Lead Engineer by attending at Engineering Meetings and Procurement Meetings.
– Purchase Order Coding and Purchase Order Register for accounting.
– Maintain (create) account codes in MARIAN (material handling software) to assign them later to Requisitions.
– Taking part on Schedule Re-baseline effort aligning the Project Tracking System Activities dates with the Schedule Activities (support at the job site, Doha, Qatar).
– Taking part on preparing the EAC (forecast) for the project, collecting staffing plan information and summarizing data (hours and $ by task, by discipline, by position).
– Update progress in Project Tracking System based on Engineering Discipline Leads input and generate Weekly Reports. Analyze the Schedule Variance (hours) from reports and spot the top engineering disciplines and specific activities that are driven behind or ahead.
– Prepare the Progress Curves and Man Power Histograms, analyze of the Cost Performance Index (CPI) and Schedule Performance Index (SPI).
Common Sulfur Project - Office Build Out:
– Update progress on the schedule, split an activity in two or more if necessary to track progress more detailed.
– Supervise the subcontractors and interconnect them to do the work that requires a team effort. Control the conflicts between subcontractors by making conflict work for progress not delays.
– Interface communication between the Owner of the building, maintenance team of the building, subcontractors and Administrative Department of the Washington E&C Romania.
– Asking support from the Upper Management when necessary or key decisions were required.
– Verify the quality and the quantity of the work; approve subcontractor’s invoices for payment.
– Organize the place to improve progress.
– Maintain and update a punch list to ensure that every detail is done.
– Generate reports for Upper Management showing the progress achieved and near term activities that will follow (sustained by photos).
– Prepare the non-conformity list for the subcontractors and supervise them to solve the problems.
