Upon awarding a construction contract, the project manager shall ask for the contractor’s Baseline Programme. My query is can the contractor supersede the first baseline with a second (revised) baseline i.e the PM use this revised programme for monitoring progress instead of the original baseline. This is particularly so when the contractor is in delay and revises his construction method s in order to recover his delayed progress. Some call this revised baseline programme as Recovery Programme. Can we use this Recovery Programme as baseline programme i.e. to monitor his pgrogress? Thank you
