Many Owners/Clients want to have a WBS-programme submitted in calendar days, i.e. 7-days calendar. At the same time they also want a resource loaded schedule, not just names of resources, but also number of units (workers).
Doesnt that defeat the object if the Contractor only works 5 or 6 days a week? By adding in resources the manhours will be higher than what is actually worked on site and the schedule cant really be used for tracking of manhours - unless the Contractor have a seperate, identical schedule in working days (i.e. 5 or 6 days week in this case).
How is it possible to satisfy the Owners requirement and at the same time utilizing this schedule for manhours tracking purposes being the Contractor?
