There is a discussion in the "A Critical Situation" thread which focuses on a discussion of CPM. There is a concentration on discussing float (as is appropriate to answering the thread starters questions).
However, I think there is an important missing element in CPM theory. In this regard, Id like to ask for comments on the following article that Bill Duncan (author of the 1996 PMBOK Guide) and I published in the most recent Chief Project Officer magazine:
