Jan 2008 - Present. Current Role Senior Planning Manager; responsible for providing commercial and planning support to the business group of Al Futtaim Carillion - MENA. Previously based in Dubai Head Office reporting to Planning Director directly and other Directors as required.

Currently "drafted" in to Cairo Festival City Infrastructure Works; EGP 1.5 B = $251.251M.

Project:
The project cost is around 2.5 Billion DHS. The project is located on Yas Island in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi near the Airport and is part of a major development being managed by Aldar Property Developers. The overall scheme is based around the new Formula One Racetrack which is due for completion before the end of 2009. The project itself comprises two elliptical 8 and 6 storey Hotel towers, one on land and one in a Marina linked by a bridge. There are two levels of underground parking, ballroom and various restaurant outlets.

1.     Project site based planning and controlling of projects from contract award to completion.
2.     Manage a team of two to four planning engineers and prepare overall Master Construction Schedule (FIDIC Clause 14 Programme), fully quantified and labour resourced using computer planning software Primavera version 3.1
3.     Update master schedule weekly and identify potential schedule conflicts and risks to contract manager.
