Check your Regional and Language Option settings. P3 export d/mm/yy format and MS Excel follow Regional and Language Option Settings.
Also CSV is a comma delimited text file and date is converted by Excel if readable as date but if started as a space then it will read by Excel as text. Try to highlight all the date fields on your Excel and press Ctrl+H or Select Edit-> Replace on Excel menu. Enter a space (press space bar) on “Find what:“ and click “Replace All”. That should remove all the space on the dates and Excel will automatically read it as a date.
