A word of warning for prospective users of this or any other similar tool, as it relates to Primavera data. (I have no knowledge of the implications for the other products mentioned.) Unless you dont mind being totally without Primavera support and running the risk of data corruption.
This has been posted in the P3 forum. But my comments apply equally to the Primavera 5.0 data. Both the P3 3.1 and the Primavera 5.0 databases are well documented, and there is nothing to prevent access by any capable software. However, the reason that there are APIs/SDKs is that this is "intelligent" access to the data that observes the "business rules". In other words, if a field is changed that affects one or more other fields, the API "knows" this. For that reason, Primavera will not support any site that uses an external program to update Primavera data, if that program does not use one of the APIs. Reporting from Primavera data is not a problem, that is pretty standard. But updating ("editing") potentially is.
And if the external software does use a Primavera API, you have to be a licensed Primavera user to both develop the software, and thereafter to use it. I.e. you need to be "with", not "without", the software!

Yup, it will be free... (I wouldnt have it any other way).
I will finish off the Alpha version revisions by the end of September (Sorry but Im only one programmer working on this) and will Send out the Beta version for testing by the 5th of October.
I will be sending it out via email to the beta testers/users & I dont expect the ENTIRE add-in to be more than 5mb (in its compressed un-installed format).
Im looking for at least 100 testers, thats why Im starting so early.
This is interesting, is it for free? If free just sent to me, Let me try and i will give the feedback. How U going to sent the file, How many byte it use.
