Jan 2008 - Present. Current Role Senior Planning Manager; responsible for providing commercial and planning support to the business group of Al Futtaim Carillion - MENA. Previously based in Dubai Head Office reporting to Planning Director directly and other Directors as required.

Currently "drafted" in to Cairo Festival City Infrastructure Works; EGP 1.5 B = $251.251M.

Responsible for running the full service of planning for Al Wakrah Stadium Precinct Project, the proposed venue up to quarter finals for the Qatar, 2022 FIFA World Cup and Confederation Gulf Cup within KEO’s Project Management and Construction Management remit.

Overall responsibility for planning function on $1bn new build university project.

Sound bachelor’s engineering degree, with a multi-disciplined background has allowed me to work in many facets of construction in UK, Australia and South East Asia for over 35 years with a broad understanding of the commercial needs of engineering disciplines and IT development.

Emelyn Martinez, MRICS, ACIArb, PMP, CCC is currently the Senior Planning Manager of Al Habtoor Leighton LLC for The Buildings by Daman at DIFC Project.   She is also the current President of AACEI-UAE Section.

Farbod is  employed by  John Buck International – Mubadala   one of main master developers  in Abu Dhabi .

Senior Planning Manager for Leighton Contracting Abu Dhabi. Roles include working on bids for major projects in UAE, also working on specific projects such as Zayed University project; Mafraq Hospital; Cleveland Clinic tender; Al Bustan Mixed use Development etc.

Previously employed in UK until October 2008 with Bovis Lend Lease, working on various bids in London and South East England.
