Delete in general is done by a delete flag (last column).

I just tried Exp --> Imp: It does work. but the records which I deleted were not touched in P6. So use the delete flag.

Is there any entry in the event log?. Maybe you’ll start the trace (under edit --> user preferences).

More and more I assume that your pc is the reason.

What happens if you’ll log into P6 from a different pc with your user?

I tried exporting file then deleting all activities execpt one the reimport file. But I get same problem

I don’t know the real reason. but next steps for me would be:

1. Export an Excel file (6.1 doesn’t know xml-format), modify e.g. an activity name and import it again.

2. If 1. works then export that specific format, if not continue with 3

3. Compare your Primavera user settings with those of a colleague where it works (currency)

4. Compare the settings of your pc with one of a colleague where it works: regional settings, ...

It has not worked for me - but others in my group have used this process successfully.

I can import a new project

I will check on virtual memeory

It seems that the wizzard didn’t come to an end and the import didn’t start. I assume some access rights are missing while creating a table.

I don’t know this code and since I don’t work for Primavera there is no chance for me to get further information. So let’s approach step by step.

Did it ever work?

Can you create a new project in P6?

Sufficient of memory inclusive virtual memory?

Can you publish the content of the three detailed windows that you can see under "more"?

Member for

It does not mod format. Others can import using the same process

Member for

I don’t know VLOOKUP. check if it modifies any format.

Yes I export from the previous month end schedule and then export the current month end schedule I add the codes to the current month end schedule via VLOOKUP and then reimport the current month end excel sheet.

Did you first export to Excel, then import using the same structure?

XLS or xml (Excel 2007)?

The size is not relevant. How do import?

Sorry, no answer, just questions.
