Yes u can check out files remotely.when u linked with p6 remotely,u actually linked to main server which enables u to do things u want but as Dieter said it again depends on rights u have authorised from the IT-Staff.

this is a question to your IT-staff.By standard, export/check-out goes to the local server - which is the Citrix-server. But this can be modified. Unfortunately I don’t know how to do it.

I dont think any new licence is need for using the web. We are about to upgrade stand alone P5 to Citrix enabled P6. This will give the option of accessing P6 from any company PC without it being installed locally.
Hope this helps

Dear Oliver,
You can access every thing within P6 directly & remotely.

But you wont be able to check files out during remote access i believe?

Dear Oliver,
I am using P6 directly & remotely with the same user name & password.

Hi Oliver
as the licence is kept on the server it is independent from direct or access via citrix.
When we upgraded from P5 to P6, some basic features of myPrimavera (or whatever name the web-based tool currently has) was included.

Imran,
If i misunderstood your post then,I think a seperate license is required to post project info via a website dashboard on P6.

Imran,
I think you can pay more for an un-named license, but i dint think 15 planners could work on that license at the same time!

Dear Oliver,
You can access same license remotely. There is no need to buy a seperate License.
