Thank you for your reply, what I meant was, I already have filtered and coded WBS summary layout which shows all the WBS summaries. I wante dto create 1 new summary that summarizes these filtered summaries. Unfortunately this is not possible as said the summary is related to a WBS and follows the duration of the same.
Any ideas how I can have one activity that can summarize the already filtered layout of a group of summaries.

You are right: Activities of the type WBS-Summary are only related to an activity. You can add relationships, but they are not considered by P6. But if you'll group by a certain code you can see many values in the headline. If you only want to see it for WBS, use a filter. Hope this helps.

to create an activity out of this layout seems impossible - at least I don't know a way.
But: WBS is a hierarchical structure. Isn't there a way to get a WBS-Summary by moving around the strcture a little bit.
If your boss or the customer need another view with the name WBS, you can create a code with this name in addition and create the needed layouts.
