Senior Planning Officer
Provides effective leadership for the Section ensuring team members are motivated and constantly developing their skills and experience;
- Oversees the overall planning and scheduling for the ITER project, including construction, commissioning, operations and decommissioning;
- Supervises the Scheduling Section; coordinates and supports the Section’s activities;
- Assists the Head of the Project Controls Division with the establishment and coordination of interfaces
- between the ITER Project Controls Division, ITER Technical Departments and Domestic Agencies with
- regard to planning and scheduling;
- Leads the development, maintenance and reporting of the Strategic Management Plan and Detailed Work schedules;
- Leads the development of a coordinated planning system between the ITER Organization (IO) and the Domestic Agencies (DA);
- Participates in the development of planning and scheduling and project control systems and procedures;
- Prepares and presents routine and ad-hoc progress reports for submission to ITER Management;
- Manages consultancy contracts to support the ITER planning & scheduling function;
- Shows strong commitment to the ITER Safety Program and enforces it through individual behavior and in his/her organization.
- Maintains a strong commitment to the implementation and perpetuation of ITER values and ethics.
