Updating and changes in data date

Hi

 

I have been told that when you are doing a monthly update, you shouldn't " schedule" ( F9, I mean) in the middle of update. and you should do all the actualizing and updating and after finishing that, you can " schedule" the project to the new data date , 1st day of next month.

 

I want to know the reason.

 

What happens if I press F9 in the middle of the updating and actualizing.
